Vlogging in the Park Workshop

You’ve been wondering for a while how your business or idea could GROW if you made it more visible to the world. What holds you back, if you’re really honest, is being more visible yourself.

Some days you’re filled with a sense of possibility and others – let’s face it – crawling under the duvet seems a more appropriate place to be. The voices speak loudly – what if I look stupid? What if the thing that I have to offer is not as interesting or original as I thought? What if what I have to offer is me? That temptation to shrink, and become less visible, is all too familiar.

Blogging – in writing – to communicate the heart of what you do – is something you aspire to but never quite get round to. It feels too exposing. And there are plenty of pressing reasons to led it slide. And Vlogging? Recording yourself speaking to the world. Ha! Surely that would be worse still?

I get it. Your Face in the World. Your Ideas in the World. Your products with content or a story built around them to spark interest and connection. You know most of you wants to try it, but you don’t know where to start. Or you’ve given it a go, but it feels awkward and unnatural.

Imagine a space where you find accountability and encouragement; where you get to name and bring alive your key messages and gain confidence – all as you take action and get started! Picture a group of women together, experimenting with new ways to communicate their business or movement to the world. And what could emerge if this group then came together regularly – in a rhythm which supported your work?

This space is here…Vlogging in the Park is the perfect intersection of my two great loves – women emerging with vigour into the world, and being outside in nature. Join us on Tuesday 25th April 9.30-12.00am (‘regulars’ join us at 10.30) for the start of  a playful adventure giving you:

  • An invigorating list of themes/titles important to your ‘tribe’ – things they most want to hear from you
  • A crystal clear connection between your theme and your call to action
  • Your first vlog/video made. Done!
  • Clarity on how/when you intend to publish the blog for maximum impact/connection with your tribe
  • Encouragement from a group of women trying it out and getting it done!
  • The promise of a regular pattern of future sessions to help you find a rhythm with your marketing
  • Park life – time out in the light and green of Richmond park

All for £39 for first time Vlogging in the Park-ers. £20 for those coming for their second or regular dose of Vlogging encouragement (choose different option at checkout, and note different timings below)

My launching of vídeos about birth related topics have been a huge success: something I already had in the back of my mind and that Kate helped me bring forth with less hesitation, and way more confidence in myself

image1-5 Today was so much more than vlogging for me. I came away with so many new questions for me to be “curious” around: I’m asking myself what does real, human and generous look like in any form (let alone a blog!). The visualisation technique has inspired me to go talk to some of my ex and existing clients about challenges they face. I loved the opportunity to hear other people’s stories – inspiring stuff. And outside light is so much more flattering! So – truly – thank you.

What if I’m having a ‘bad hair day’?

Watch me here having a ‘bad face day’ and explaining why it’s all welcome.

What if it’s raining or exceptionally cold?

Then we will meet at my home first, 5 minutes walk from the park (I will email the group in advance), and plan to get out during the morning.

I dont want to practice making a vlog in front of anyone. Shall i come anyway?

Come! There will be individual time for your to explore the content/messages you want to convey to your people, group coaching on connecting your theme to your call to action, and then some of you will choose to pair up to make their vlogs, others will go solo. Plenty of space, wherever we are…

Do I need any special equipment?

A smartphone with a camera/video function (and with space on it…delete any extraneous photos or videos in advance). One of these smartphone tripods is helpful too as you can easily keep the phone steady and even twist it too railings or tree branches so film anywhere!

What else should I bring/wear?

Dress up warm for the winter months including a brightly coloured scarf you love. Bring a flask of hot tea/coffee for the park.

If this is my launch workshop, will the regular meet ups be different?

The regular Vlogging in the Park meet ups will still have the same group vibe, with the inspiration to get speaking about who you are and what you do. There will be a chance to revisit your themes/titles list, get clear on how your chosen theme links to your current call to action, problem solve together and then crack on and make your vlogs. The satisfaction of walking away every time with vlogs in your pocket is huge! Regulars will join the group at 10.30 in the park.

How much will the regular meet ups cost?

£20 for a 1.5 hour dose of encouragement, clarity about what you want to share, and why! And you’ll walk away with another vlog (or vlogs) that speak directly to the people who are looking for YOU and your work

Can I still join the regular meet ups if I’ve missed the launch workshop?

Yes, newcomers to the community are always welcome. For you, your first time will be your very own launch workshop (choose ‘your launch workshop’ at checkout) and you will get the coaching support your need – in advance and at the meet up – to get clear and get going.
